Ruger 77/22®

For conversion of the 77/22 to what would be a 77//17HM2, barrels will be available here as well as Moly-Fusion™ to convert/keep them at a lower back pressure to the cartridge designed for a lower pressure than can develop in long barrels. The longer the barrel, the smaller the round, the higher the pressures, and eliminating "stiction" really helps "shorten" the barrel.
